Popular broadcaster Leah Panapa began hosting the new radio breakfast show on The Sound in early 2015. She previously co-hosted The Morning Rumble breakfast show on The Rock for the past 9 years, and with more than two decades in radio under her belt Leah has worked for stations Hauraki, More FM and Radio Live as a news reader and host. Her breakfast crews have notched up five best breakfast show awards.
As comfortable behind the microphone as on stage, Leah has hosted everything from pub charity bashes to the Big Boys Toys Expo and a Miss New Zealand competition. She's also held her own in debates against the likes of comedians Jeremy Corbett and Gary McCormick, MC'd Les Mills events, and more recently tackled The Comedy Roast of Murray Mexted (Comedy Central TV) and The Red Nose Cure Kids Charity Show (TV3) both live stand-up performances - to rave reviews. Fearless in the face of a challenge, Leah also hosted Maori Television's sports quiz show HEAD 2 HEAD.
Leah is known for her fantastic sense of humour, warm nature and ability to woo the most difficult of clients.
